Lincoln Park Zoo
Lincoln Park Zoo was established in 1868 and is one of the oldest zoologist gardens. It is also one of the last cultural institutions in the United States to have free admission. It is open year round and continues to attract more than three million of visitors each year. Visitors experience a fun, educational time as there are 17 exhibits and animals houses to go through that have an assortment of captivating animals from mammals to reptiles. Lincoln Park Zoo has a mission not only to satisfy visitors but to it is dedicated to the improvement of wildlife conservation and management. The scientists at Lincoln Park Zoo identify threats and try to ensure the existence of animals by utilizing new strategies.
